Lenore completed her medical degree at Monash University in 1998 with honours. She subsequently trained as a general practitioner with an interest in women’s health. She left General Practice in 2003 to commence training in Gynaecology at the Mercy Hospital for Women. Throughout her Gynaecology training Lenore worked at several hospitals including The Northern Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital, Wangaratta Hospital, Wodonga Hospital and Reproductive Medicine, Albury.
Lenore has an interest in minimally invasive gynaecology (key hole surgery) and has completed a two year AGES (Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society) accredited fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery. She holds a public Gynaecology Consultant position at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Department of Endosurgery. Lenore has an ongoing interest in teaching and medical research she has presented at international meetings and published works in peer reviewed journals.
Lenore is a happily married mother to two small girls and outside of work enjoys bike riding, playing violin and rock climbing.
